re: access violation errors (c000005). I changed my editor to notepad++ - other editors like Textpad change something in the files so that they don't parse correctly. Regenerate your files from the original downloads and use Notepad++ to edit them.

this used to work for me, but now when I run the maphack diablo 2 just freezes, the maphack is still responding but I cant click anything in D2 and I just have to close the program, I already did everything iRONKNIGHT suggested as well. Anyone have any ideas?

Yea, been trying the compatability stuff... Doesn't work. I've tried all service packs for XP, and vista, and the run as administrator, as well as every combination of them... Am I just fuckin' SoL for botting? I'm NOT spending 45bucks on D2mb... And besides, its an NT based system so won't I have the same problem I run d2 just fine, absolutely no problems... Just the nt that doesn't work for me.
